Jin Ke
KO CHIN

2002 TAIWAN

Jin Ke (2002) was born in Taoyuan and currently lives and works in Taipei. Her work primarily uses painting as a medium, focusing on the relationship between bodily experience, private space, and the mechanism of viewing. Her works often originate from everyday settings, combining personal memory, mythological structures, and symbolic narratives. Through the distortion and recombination of the body image, she explores how repressed sensory experiences are viewed, projected, and reproduced. Her 2024 series, *Private Bathhouse*, focuses on the body's uncontrolled state as it moves between the private and public spheres, further exploring the symbolic meaning of nudity in art history. Her recent works attempt to expand the discussion to the relationship between bodily perception and identity.
